Exam rules
Real test: 70% to pass. Not confirmed by the board: question count, time limit; this practice exam uses 120 questions, 6 h 30 min. Check your candidate bulletin.
Open book: bring the references your board allows (usually your state's edition of the NASCLA Contractor's Guide); check your candidate bulletin.
Questions cover federal law and general construction-business practice, the national core of the NASCLA-guide business & law exams. Florida law (licensing thresholds, lien deadlines, workers' compensation, state taxes) is covered only in general terms; study your state's edition of the guide for it.
Florida's exam is called Business and Finance (120 questions, about 6.5 hours, open book; figures from a secondary source). Study Florida's own law (Chapter 489, lien law) as well; these questions cover the national core.
Whether the real test is offered in Spanish is not confirmed.
Unofficial practice; not affiliated with the licensing board or the test vendor.
